On Good Friday my family and I walked with a large crowd of people through the neighborhood streets of Holland, Michigan reenacting the stations of the cross. We stopped at different points along the way praying and recalling Christ’s bloody passion. As members of the church community played out the roles of various people in the Good Friday drama, my eyes were drawn to the man playing Jesus. |

Beautiful meditation Brian. In my meditation I saw He wasn’t in anguish for what lied ahead but because He needed more time on earth. He sorrowed because He wanted to keep evangelizing. He did as much as He could in 3 years but He knew many more people needed to know who the Father was. I believe that is what He was lamenting. His love for those who still needed to hear the Good News carried them in. Just my thoughts.
A good insight! Jesus wept for all those whom still needed to know who the Father was.
