BE STILL—OPEN YOUR HEART—LISTEN
What are guided meditations?
In guided meditation, our spiritual practice is shaped by becoming still, opening our hearts, and listening to another person’s voice. Because the mind wanders, many of us find it easier to focus and relax when our minds are following the words of someone who’s guiding our path with a gentle reflection.
Since our minds can think only one thought at a time, guided meditation invites us to become quiet, allowing the mind to sink into the heart into what many call the “heartspace.” In doing so, we become aware of God’s Presence and the Spirit’s loving movement in our lives.
Pick a meditation below that invites you in. Then sit back, be still, and become aware of God’s abiding Presence as you listen from your heartspace.
