God is Good and So are You

Posted On March 11, 2018

Why do we spend so much time wondering whether we’re good or not?  Why do we ping-pong between pride (I’m better than others) and shame (I’m a worthless idiot) when humility (I know who I am and who I am not) is the soil that grounds us? Humility is the clay that invites us to remain open to God’s love, to be teachable.

God is good and so are you.  That’s the undebatable truth.

God, the Infinite Source of Unconditional Love created you out of that Love—Mind, Body and Spirit. One in Love. Whole. Complete just as you already are.

It doesn’t matter what others say.  It doesn’t matter who told you, you weren’t good. Don’t believe the lies any longer.

Claim the truth instead: God is good and so am I.

Say the words until they become a mantra:  God is good and so am I.

Let the words fill every cell of your Being until you’re drenched with the truth: God is good and so am I.

Let the words become a burning bush that consumes and transforms you. Let them become your holy ground as you take off your shoes and stand tall with Moses.

Once grounded, allow your goodness to speak these words to others who’re still trapped in the lies: God is good and so are you.
